Holiday Contest
This week's Friday Puzzle will be a little different. I've put together a four-part treasure hunt that will start here but may wind its way into some of my books or elsewhere. Each puzzle part will give a message/pointer to the next place to go, only the travel will be virtual - between puzzles and not between places. I've tried to make it very approachable, since not everyone who comes here for logic puzzles will be as familiar with puzzle hunts, but I hope the journey is fun and the reward valuable enough.

If you can find your way to the end, and tell me what you have earned, you will:

A) Officially become my #N fan for the next year, based on the order of finish.
B) Get a chance to win one of two prize packages which will include a custom puzzle design of your choice, and signed copies of my next two books. If N people finish, solver M will get (N+1)-M entries into the drawing, so finishing sooner will increase your chances.

I'll post the contest page on Friday at 1 PM EST/10 AM PST*, and will accept solutions through the 2nd of January, 2012.

*(unless I run into problems on my flights home.)

How do we contact you?
how should we tell you what we have earned... should we just leave a comment?

Re: How do we contact you?
I had it in my initial post and then edited it out as I wasn't sure I'd settled on the address I could best read while at my parents' house; for now I suggest you email motris at yahoo dot com if you either run into problems or get to the end but if that changes you'll see on Friday.

Will we need your books? I'm home in Connecticut until the 2nd and Mutant Sudoku is the only one I have on me.

They will be useful to have in places but I can be consulted (at the cost of some time) to supply anything actually needed.
